God’s grace has a humbling power that will redirect your life. Humility is not weakness. Humility is placing yourself under the grace, glory, love, and mission of God. It gives you a supernatural ability to accomplish God’s mission. Happy are the humble, for God will do above and beyond all they think or imagine, because the risen Lord Jesus will work mightily in them. (Gray, Derwin “The Good Life” pg. 75)
Day 71 of Russia’s war on Ukraine. The Battle for the Mariupol Steel Mill is continuing to unfold. This is a historic battle. This grueling, close combat fight will be studied for centuries to come. Unfortunately, for all the innocent lives lost, they will become nothing but names on a monument or a page in history. The humble warriors of Mariupol will fight to the bitter end before they ever surrender to the Russian aggressors.
Dr. Derwin Gray’s words above are the highlight for my post today. I will be sharing excerpts from Chapter Four, “Happy Are The Humble,” for the rest of the week. Dr. Gray does a marvelous job explaining the true joy and happiness found when you live a humble life.
