Good Morning Family! I got a trifecta of videos to share with y’all today, starting with our promo launch video for the CSRDD2021 group page. We’re going all in this year, and we have no idea how to do it. This video is a great example of our media skills. Launched a YouTube channel yesterday as well, since it’s easier to upload a video there, then share it on here, like I am about to do now.
We really had some technical difficulties and had to shoot that five times before we outsmarted the video editing app. This is going to be a really fun year, we can’t wait to get it started! In the meantime, back to the countdown.
4. Matthew West: Walking Miracles – Mr. West’s album, Brand New, came out on Valentine’s Day and we loved it for a good month. Our kids were singing almost every song and it made my daughter into a Matthew West fan for life. Every song on the album is great, but the one I am sharing below, and the music video that accompanies it, shows what an amazing man of God Mr. West is. Truly amazing. In fact, if I remember correctly, I think I was just beginning this blog and I shared almost every song off this album to kick this project off.
3. Kari Jobe w/Elevation Worship: The Blessing – with over 38 million views, this was definitely the worship song of 2020. It’s a simple song, just a blessing sung over and over, but it is so powerful and it was released on the verge of COVID-19 shutting down America and beginning it’s destructive wave against lives and livelihoods. Kari Jobe, her husband, Cody Carnes, and the Elevation Worship team gave the world a gift this year that we will be singing for decades to come. My favorite part of that video is when Pastor Steven Furtick shouts into his mic: “Put another blessing on them Kari!” Such passion and praise pouring out on that stage.
20He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. (Revelation 22:20)
A thousand times over, I profess the same request John states at the end of his revelation: Come, Lord Jesus. May you all lift your hands in prayer today and plead for Jesus’ glorious return. And may you live everyday forward as if today was the day your prayers will be answered.
Prayer and meditation: Prayer that anyone who does not know Christ comes to His table in the coming year.
Fitness challenge: We’re moving Thursday’s AMRAP up a day so you can relax the next two days. 15 minutes, as many rounds as you can get:
- 10 x Burpees
- 1-minute plank
Run: Sprint work-out. Let’s celebrate the new year properly!
½ mile warm-up
21 x 100 m
½ mile cool-down
