We are here. The last day of November. Enjoy it. Tomorrow we begin to celebrate the King of Kings. 25 days of Christmas praise for the Holy Babe born in a manger. I can not wait to dive into the final book of the New Testament, and walk with y’all into 2021! Let there be wonder in this season of miracles!
November 30
24To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy-25to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (Jude 24, 25)
The final doxology of the New Testament is perhaps my favorite. I challenge you to commit these verses to your memory, it is a wonderful prayer to pray over others. And on this day, I pray this over you, dear friend.
Reading plan: Reflect on all you learned this month.
Deeper reading plan: Zephaniah 3:9-20
Prayer and meditation: Today I thank God for you and your dedication to this project and for reading the Bible in one year. One month left! Pray for peace, pray for calm. Pray the revival in your heart overflows to all those around you.
Fitness challenge: Day 91-91 reps each:
- Hand-release Push-up
- Sit-up
- Jumping squat
- Leg lifts
- Burpees
Run: Monday-resistance running day. Whatever you used last week, get after it again. This week, perform 15 sprints with whatever resistance you can come up with, add a one-mile warm-up and one-mile cool-down.
DECEMBER
Congratulations, you are a month away from closing this journey out. You will have read the entire Bible cover-to-cover. You have learned how to pray with focus. You have gone from barely running a mile to being able to compete in 10K races. And you’ve become a presence in both your church and your community.
Reading Plan: John’s Revelation. The final book of the Bible is full of prophecy and the most vivid imagery to paint the end of time and the beginning of eternity.
Deeper Reading Plan: Three short books left!
Prayer and Meditation: We will focus our prayers on all the miracles of the season, and next year. We celebrate the birth of Jesus and praise His glory and majesty.
Fitness: Nine days left of our 100-day challenge. 5 exercises that you have reached an amazing level of strength in. We’ll take a short break to recover and then hit the calisthenics hard our last two weeks! This month we will focus on running 6.2 miles (a 10K) on Saturday’s for time. After this year I hope you will be ready to go after even greater distances.
Service and Church: December is the busiest month of the year to serve in both your community and church. Keep going all-in on both.
