“It’s just basic faith, man,”-Pastor Steven Furtick (Water Walking 101 Sermon). It’s the little nuances in life where I see God constantly working. So, as y’all know, I am sharing We The Kingdom‘s debut album this week. We started off with the first two tracks, which were exclusive to the album’s release, now the next three tracks have all been out for at least several months. I shared Child of Love (track #3 on the album) back on July 3. Track #4, Dancing on the Waves, has been out for almost a year, and their title track, Holy Water, was WTK’s huge break out single. So I spent some time researching my blog to see if I had previously shared track #4, and of course I have not, until today. And that’s because it’s the perfect song to go with Pastor Furtick’s next perfect sermon. You can listen to both by clicking the images below.

23May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
Today we are looking at our last verses from 1 Thessalonians. The reading plan will carry you through almost half of 2 Thessalonians, which is a very short letter. Paul was very pleased with the work the Church at Thessalonica was doing. By his writing it can easily be assumed that they were one of his favorite churches and might have been one of the few early Christian churches to properly preach the word of Christ and live lives that accurately mirrored those preachings. Because of that, Paul closes this letter with this prayer. I pray this over you today. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is faithful. He will fulfill His promises.
Reading plan: 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
Deeper reading plan: Jeremiah 23, 24
