8“‘Listen, High Priest Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.’” (Zechariah 3:8)
Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope your week is going well. I wanted to get on here to share some important media. For one, Mrs. Z just published a new post on her blog at www.goodnessgravyboats.home.blog. Entitled “Heavy,” it’s a perfect read to pair with the song I’ll be sharing at the end of this entry.
I also want to share Pastor Steven Furtick’s message from this weekend. It’s another inspirational word and passionate sermon from the most anointed Pastor of all modern age.
And finally, I wanted to share this new single by Stephen Stanley, entitled “Heavy.” It’s a great reminder that life gets messy, things get heavy sometimes, especially during the holidays. There’s a reason so many bad things happen near the holidays. Sure part of it is the stress people struggle with in misguided attempts to please others in useless gifts. But the other part of it is the devil’s working extra hard in this season because he can’t stand the world coming together to celebrate the birth of Jesus. What a jealous, pathetic, piece of work, that silly devil is. Try as he may to make the world focus on all that is going wrong, I won’t let the devil steal my joy. This month I will lift up my Savior and celebrate His miraculous birth above all else. Will you be joining me?
Reading plan: Revelation 8; Zechariah 4
