17And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  (Ephesians 3:17-18)

Paul makes translating the truth of the Bible easy sometimes.  Here he writes to describe the love of Jesus for all of mankind.  Paul prays that readers have power to be able to “grasp” just “how wide and long and high and deep” the love of Christ is.  Wide, long, high, and deep, Paul gets every dimension covered.  The truth is, Christ’s love knows no limits, no measurement in our knowledge can properly describe the love Jesus has for you and me.  Which is why it’s called love that “surpasses knowledge.”  And when you understand that truth, this gives you a peace that goes beyond all comprehension.  Peace over everything, knowing that Jesus and God love you with such ferocity that it can not properly be explained in our mortal words.  The One who created you and the Son who died for you love you more than you can properly understand.  They love you for exactly how you were born.  They love you for the person you constantly try to be.  All they ask for in return is that you love them and love others.  God does not care how successful you are, or how much money you make, or how many Instagram followers you have.  God only cares that you love others as you love yourself.

Prayer and meditation:  Pray for our country.  Pray for love to conquer all.  Pray that Christ infects our hearts and ignites a final fire of revival to sweep this land.

Fitness challenge:  Free for all Friday-4 exercises at descending intervals (you’ll need a watch for this).  Last week we did an upper body blaster, this week, working on the lower body.  First set is 30 seconds of straight work, second set is 20 seconds, your last set is just 10 seconds of work.  Break for 10 seconds after each round (one round is all four exercises).

  1. Jumping squats
  2. Alternating Jumping lunges
  3. High knees
  4. Burpees
