I’m so excited to not only share some more of my wife’s wonderful devotions over the next few days, but as I have been listening to the new music out in the Christian Music scene, it’s going to be an amazing week of music! In case you can not wait, one of my FAVORITE bands, Sidewalk Prophets, released their new album: The Things That Got Us Here! But before I get to that album, I wanted to share this song that just played and it’s amazing.
July 3
13The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray. (Galatians 2:13)
Hypocrites. We’ve all known at least one, and honestly, we’ve all been one at some time or another. It’s easy to write about how to be a good Christian, and talk about how to be a good Christian, and post on social media about how to be a good Christians. But sometimes our actions completely deviate from our preaching. I’ll be the first to say that I’ve been guilty of this. If you truly want to lead people to Christ, you have to do it with your actions in your everyday life. Actually do the things you preach about. We share MeMe’s about giving it all to God, but are we really doing that? Do we understand what it even means to give it “all” to God? Obviously not, because we wouldn’t even be on social media if we gave it all to God…

Reading plan: Galatians 3
Deeper reading plan: Ecclesiastes 7, 8, 9
Prayer and meditation: Pray for our country. Pray for love to conquer all. Pray that Christ infects our hearts and ignites a final fire of revival to sweep this land.
Fitness challenge: Free for all Friday-4 exercises at descending intervals (you’ll need a watch for this). Since tomorrow is the fourth of July, and hopefully a great beach, lake day, here’s a quick set of four exercises for the fellas. First set is 30 seconds of straight work, second set is 20 seconds, your last set is just 10 seconds of work. Break for 10 seconds after each round (one round is all four exercises).
- Hand-release push-up
- Diamond push-up
- Wide-grip push-up
- Burpees
