Common Sense REBORN Devotion

December 29

6He said to me:  “It is done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.  To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.   (Revelation 21:6)

Good morning family!  Just three days left in 2021.  The kids are out of school, so I have been soaking in this Christmas vacation.  Of course our first week was super busy with our Kentucky trip and visiting half of our family for Christmas.  This weekend we will visit our Florida family to do Christmas down there and ring in the New Year.  I took my kiddos shopping in historic Savannah yesterday and the city was bustling with tourists.  It was a great day to go downtown and to remind myself why I love Savannah so much.  It should be a wonderful NYE celebration downtown, if everyone behaves themselves, that is.

Mrs. Z and I have decided to add one more book to the list for next year.  In the month of September, as the summer winds to an end and fall (hopefully) comes meandering in like a cool breeze, we’re going to read the classic “Mere Christianity” by CS Lewis.  I can not wait!
