2I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. (Jonah 4:2)
Happy Friday Family! May peace and blessings abound in your life. I know I had stated in my last post that I would be back on Wednesday, but I got busy with my current project and could not break away to create some new content. I will say that I had quite an intimate experience with God back on Tuesday after making that last post and praising what God did in my life in the last three years. I had YouTube playing music in the background as I was typing. When “Ring and Robe” from Bethel started playing, I just felt the urge to dance. Just get up and dance in my kitchen, dance in gratitude for all God and Jesus has done in my life. I felt like I was dancing like David in 2 Samuel 6:14:
“…David was dancing before the Lord with all his might…”
I do believe that dancing is an artform (tasteful dancing that is) and it is a celebration of music and movement, and back on Tuesday I had a beautiful moment between just my Creator and myself. I could feel the Holy Spirit in that room and several times during that song I fell to my knees and lifted my hands up in gratitude for the glorious life God has given me.
If any outsider had seen me dancing around my kitchen, they would have probably thought I had lost my mind. But I felt the rhythm of that great song and just wanted to dance for my God. I believe God loves to see us dancing for joy in all He has done in our lives, just as David did millenia ago. Sometimes you just have to get out of your comfort zone and dance, dance, dance.
Speaking of getting out of your comfort zone, Mrs. Z’s newest blog post is another wonderful piece of inspiration that I invite you all to read by clicking here.
I missed a bunch of great songs last week and only have one more favorite to share today. I recommend clicking these links to hear these amazing new singles:
And this great one from Anthony Evans.
