14”For God does speak-now one way, now another-
though no one perceives it.
15In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they slumber in their beds,” (Job 33:14, 15)
Happy Friday friends! For many of you, today marks the start of a long weekend. I hope you spend it in moments of reflection and celebration of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we may live freely and appreciate all that this world has to offer. The verses above come from young Elihu, and I want to avoid any real analytical outlooks on this book because I keep finding myself rambling on in circles trying to explain the Book of Job. Instead, I just want to share some great media I came across this week, all of which are perfect example of God speaking to our generation.
The first is my local county magazine, the Chatham County Living Spring 2021 edition. While there are many great articles in this publication, the one I want to point out is the eight page write up they did to feature our favorite place to volunteer in Savannah. Jump to page 104 on this link to read it yourself.
And to help you fully understand how creative and anointed Pastor Furtick is, here is that beautiful song he speaks of.
Reading plan: Acts 27
Deeper reading plan: Job 31, 32, 33
