Wow! It’s the last day of October, all Hallow’s Eve. But more importantly, for you that have been following along since the beginning, you are just two months away from finishing the year out. I pray for you all, that you stay focused, keep reading the Bible and keep enjoying the amazing Christian music like the song I am sharing below.
And don’t think I forgot about my homie Pastor Furtick. I’ll be sharing his latest word in between our devotion for the day and the preview for November.
17Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Chrst. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:17, 18)
Halloween is a fun holiday, but for Christians, it is the one day that sometimes gets the whole “religious persecution” as a day when we celebrate “the devil” and evil. I do think that as a Christian you should be modest and smart in what you portray. And I do get bothered when people go all out for Halloween but do little to celebrate Christmas and the birth of their Savior. So have fun tonight, be safe and just keep in mind that you are a representative of Christ, and that is a hat you must wear every day of the calendar, costume or not!

The month of Thanksgiving! We as Americans have a lot to be thankful for and we will focus on that this month.
Reading Plan: John and Jude’s letters. This is a month of short reading plans. You can follow along or read ahead. I hope you spend your extra time in prayer or servitude.
Deeper Reading Plan: We’ll burn through six books this month, but they are all fairly short. You are two months away from completing your goal!
Prayer and Meditation: We will say a prayer of gratitude each day. We will pray with increased intensity on the need for a lasting revival to sweep this land.
Fitness: Month three of our 100-day challenge. 5 exercises to do everyday (except Sundays). Feel free to break each exercise up into however many sets you need to as the total reps increase. If you need to do 3 sets of 20, do 3 sets of 20. If you can knock them all out in one set, kudos to you and keep it up! The weather’s cooler so we’re going to continue to run everyday except our rest days.
Service and Church: Keep looking for ways to serve one day a week and get involved in your church! Work at becoming a member of your church!
