Writings on the Wall Part 2
6Pray about everything, worry about nothing. (Phillipians 4:6)
Good morning y’all. The world is in quite the precarious place right now. Israel has started what could easily be the war to end all wars. Their massive human genocide against the Palestinian people has increasingly led them to be isolated from the rest of the world. Yesterday, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant. While this does not mean that some international police force is going to sweep into Israel to arrest these two monsters, what it does mean is that the international community is recognizing that what Israel is doing is a war crime. Make no mistake, if you support Israel’s current campaign of killing innocent men, women, and children, God has a special place in purgatory for you.
I have written about the special place we have in our forever home before. It is an extra closet at the top of our stairs that we converted into our “War Room”, a place Mrs. Z and I gather our two oldest children every night to read scripture and pray. I missed this special time while I was deployed in Poland, but my soul has been recharged since returning home and joining my family in that room. Both our children fill their prayers with an end to the wars around the world. It is uplifting, and heartbreaking, all at the same time. It does not have to be this way. There can be peace. If the world could come to a true understanding of who Jesus is, and show the love He gives us to one another, we can welcome Jesus back to Earth as a community crying out to Him, patiently waiting as good and faithful servants.

So, pray about everything and try to not worry about anything. I know that last part of this verse is a challenge in these dark times, but I truly believe the more you do the first part of that statement, pray about everything, the easier the second half becomes.
