32Then Jesus called his disciples and told them, “I feel sorry for these people. They have been here with me for three days, and they have nothing left to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, or they will faint along the way.”
33The disciples replied, “Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?” (Matthew 15:32, 33, Life Application Study Bible)
These two verses are the start to a much longer story. These verses begin the story of Jesus feeding thousands with just seven loaves and two fish, performing this miracle for the second time according to the Gospel of Matthew. I just can’t write anymore without stealing from the mind-blowing teaching I received from Pastor Steven Furtick regarding this miracle. Click the image below to get schooled in “God-math”, and learn how “the disciples saw a huge crowd, but Jesus saw people.”
I have got more to share tomorrow. But for today, just enjoy this sermon, and if you have even more time, fill your day with some amazing new worship music. This new album from Gateway Worship is one to lift up some praise to. The title track is below to give you a sample. Enjoy and be blessed.
