32Then John gave his testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. 33And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” (John 1:32-34, The Jesus Bible)
Good morning family! I pray you have a blessed and peaceful Tuesday. I am pushing this out to you as quickly as I can because I am very limited on time. The last two mornings I have tried to wake up an hour early to get on here and share my thoughts, but I have allowed the snooze button on my alarm to be my enemy. However, I needed to catch up on sleep. I have two important things to share with y’all. The first is the song below, a studio version of Bethel Music’s beautiful release from their 2021 Homecoming album. Zahriya Zachary’s voice is absolutely stunning, and while this song is two years old now, I have really never heard the lyrics until I started playing this track on repeat over the weekend. Just click on the image at the bottom of this post and hear these powerful words: “The enemy thought he had me, but Jesus said ‘you are mine!’.”
Another dear friend of mine was baptized over the weekend. It is truly amazing how the Holy Spirit is working: stirring the souls of successful, established men and women to make that public declaration that they are laying down the ways of the world, washing their sins away, and being raised back to life through the waters of baptism! It’s hot out there folks, no better time to submerge your body, and let your sin, guilt, shame, fear, failure, all your burdens die in those waters.
The other wonderful reading I want to share with you today is this amazing post from the out-of-this-world talented blogger over at Goodness Gravy Boats! Click here to read an amazing word about “planting seeds“!
That’s all I have for today. Click the link below and be blessed!
