March 26
47Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and He was alone on land. 48He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn He went out to them, walking on the lake. (Mark 6:47-48, The Jesus Bible)
Happy Sunday family! I made a big jump from the Book of Leviticus to the Book of Mark, but there is a purpose in that. For one, I read half of the Mark yesterday, so it was refreshing to read the verses above in their full context. The second reason I shared the two verses above is because of the amazing sermon I am posting below. Elevation Church had a guest pastor speak this last weekend, and I just have to share it with y’all. Click the image below and hear a POWERFUL word from the story of Jesus walking on water.
I also wanted to share the song that is my new official song for Easter. One of my favorites, Mr. Phil Wickham, has released another masterpiece, and it could, quite possibly, be the best anthem for telling the story of Easter in single song. Click the image below and start learning these lyrics, because we’ll be singing them all shortly. Have a blessed Sunday. Two weeks until we celebrate the greatest miracle the world has ever witnessed!
